Seller & Business Policies

These policies apply to all businesses, marketplace sellers, service providers, and ambassadors listing on Hometown Hub.
Eligibility
- You must be 18 or older and legally able to enter contracts.
- Your business must be properly licensed and registered in its jurisdiction.
- You must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
Listings
- Accurately describe products, services, prices, and availability.
- Use original photos and content you have rights to use.
- No prohibited items (see Community Guidelines).
Fulfillment
- Ship or deliver within the stated time frame.
- Honor booking appointments. Notify customers of changes promptly.
- Respond to customer messages within 24 hours.
Payments & fees
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Funds are held until the transaction completes per refund policy.
- Platform fees and Stripe processing fees are deducted from each transaction. See your pricing plan for details.
- Payouts run on the schedule shown in your business dashboard.
- Subscriptions, advertising fees, and ambassador commissions are billed per the terms shown at signup.
Reviews & reputation
- Do not solicit fake reviews or retaliate against negative reviewers.
- You may respond publicly to reviews; keep responses professional.
Taxes
You are responsible for collecting and remitting any sales tax, VAT, or other taxes required in your jurisdiction unless Hometown Hub has explicitly enabled automated tax handling for your transactions.
Enforcement
Violations may result in listing removal, account suspension, withheld payouts pending review, or permanent removal. Contact business@gethometownhub.com for questions.
