Independent providers

Hometown Hub connects riders with independent transportation providers. Drivers are not employees of Hometown Hub. We do not own, operate, or maintain the vehicles used to provide rides.

Driver requirements

• Valid driver's license and insurance meeting state minimums.
• Vehicle in safe operating condition.
• Background check and identity verification (where required by law).

Rider responsibilities

• Verify driver and vehicle match the app before entering.
• Wear a seatbelt. Follow all safety instructions.
• Treat drivers with respect.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hometown Hub is not liable for accidents, injuries, property damage, delays, lost items, or any other loss arising from rides arranged through the platform. Your remedies are limited to the amount you paid for the specific ride.

Safety & emergencies

If you are in immediate danger, call 911. Report non-emergency safety incidents to rides@gethometownhub.com within 48 hours so we can investigate.

Payments

Fares are calculated and charged through Stripe at the end of each ride. See the Refund Policy for cancellation and dispute terms.
